Shiny

I was on my way to deliver Oak's Parcel, one of the first things you need to do in the game. So I deliver it, and leave the Pokemart. I start down the road when I remember there's a path that leads to the Elite Four/Victory Road over to the left. I decide "Why not?" and go over to see it. Walking into the tall grass for a few steps, when I find a wild Pokemon. I think it'll be a good experience battle so I don't get too annoyed. As I'm watching the pokemon slide into frame, I notice the color is slightly off. "...no fucking way..." and right before my eyes, a shiny Rattatta appears! I was so excited! ...until I remembered one crucial detail...I didn't have any pokeballs yet... I left that battle with my head held low, and accepted my horrible defeat.
Later on in the game, I get to Cinnabar Island. I decide to walk around in the mansion on that island for some experience, maybe find and catch a Growlithe. So I'm just walking, defeating some pokemon here and there. So I'm about to leave when another wild pokemon appears. And I watch. I watch the pokemon slide into frame. I notice...it has a slight color difference than usual. Another. Shiny. Rattatta. I have been given another chance! I go straight to my bag and go for the Ultra balls, I'm not taking any chances of it fainting. I select the Ultra ball and feel victory of catching a shiny inch its way ever so close. When a message appears. "Box is full. Change boxes to catch more Pokemon."
I closed my Game Boy. Lied down. And cried myself to sleep.

this one time i went fishing in a lake and i caught a red gyarados, man those things are cool must have been super rare

My shiny story? For me to have a shiny story, I'd have to actually meet a shiny first. I've owned every game capable of obtaining a shiny in, and have yet to meet a single one in my thousands of hours spent playing. I've even tried forcing a shiny encounter through some methods in my pokemon pearl playthrough out of desperation. I've given up trying to catch the ever elusive shiny pokempn a long time ago.

When i was like 13 i was playing emerald and i was just going to the next town and dananananana wild pokemon blah blah. Fucking shiny Seviper.

i started a new game in ruby and got a shiny Torchic and my battery died before i could save

Can I get a shiny legendary if keep restarting until it is?

Okay listen up bitches. Firered, caught a shiny Pidgey outside Pewter City, got roared by a shiny Growlithe outside of Celadon. In Ruby, caught a shiny Makuhita in the cave on that island early game, caught a shiny Wurmple on like the first route, and got roared by shiny Aaron in the final cave. MFW all the other stories are of only finding one and most of those failures.

I killed Entei in Pokémon Silver.

The only shiny I've ever caught was a Drowzee. I was pissed until I remembered that it evolved into bad ass hypno

the first time i came across a shiny it was a shiny lvl 50 something machoke in my pearl verison....i only had two great balls and an ultra ball and all i had was two lvl 100s and 4 pokemon lvl 10 and lower...i wasn't able to catch it

In my Sapphire version, I got a shiny Absol, and I transferred it to my Diamond because I loved the shit outta that thing. My brother replayed his Ruby version recently and as he was leaving the first town, he found and caught a shiny Poochyena, which later evolved into a badass shiny Mightyena that was bright yellow and black.

Shit was so cash.
