Only shiny pokemon I have ever come across in all my years of playing was a shiny Dratini.
So naturally I was like FUCK YEAH I'LL HAVE A SHINY DRAGONITE
but it was in the Safari Zone and it instantly fled.
I wept.

I ran into a shiny trapinch in Emerald at the fossil tower. I was about to run away, because of instinct, but luckily it had Arena Trap. My shiny flygon is beautful :D
