what needs to be added to psychic being only weak to bug is that the only damaging gen I bug-type moves were Twineedle, Pin Missile and Leech Life which dont exceed 25 base power at least twineedle and pin missile can hit multiple times which could be learned by a whoopin total of 8 pokemon, 5 of which were weak to psychic themselves as they were part-poison types.
also i'd argue against >>#11. yes, psychic only has 3 weaknesses but Dark is an extremely nasty weakness especially for physically defensively weak pokemon, which is common for psychic types because offensive dark type moves are so common.
i remember i asked for pokemon stadium for christmas and got pokemon snap. and i remember being so upset so my mother said she would return it and get pokemon stadium, i had so much fun with snap for a couple days (back when returns were not as crazy strict) but was too embarrassed to say it when she took it back. pokemon stadium was pretty awesome tho, and it let me play my pokemon red on the tv.
call my opinion unpopular.... I liked Starfox Adventures. Assault was less than great, but Adventures I had a good time with. Only the ending where they shoehorned Andross in was lame. I was looking forward to fighting General Scales the whole game, and then it goes to the less than well designed ship section for a fight with Andross. It didn't really play to it's strengths
There were a couple of nit-picky things, like having to deal with that retarded "Yeah, I got it!" animation every time you get an item. It was really annoying to deal with after a seeing it a few times, and the whole dinosaur thing was kind of tossed around too much.
I think the biggest issue, however, is that it wasn't really meant to be a Starfox game. We were used to starships and what not with Starfox. Most of the game was on foot using another person's weapon and then, like you said, they shoehorned Andross in at the end. I think that game would have been better received if it was just about Dinosaur planet and Krystal.
Having it about Fox is really what caused the issue, I think. .. Plus that dinosaur partner you get was kind of annoying.
I am excited for the new stairfax though. Platinum is one of my more favorite developers, and hopefully they breathe new life into the Franchise.... because recently, Smash has been Fox's only game in recent years.
While we are on the subject of Pokemon, I have a bunch of Pokemon cards I want to sell. Where should I go (besides ebay)? I have a lot of good cards, Japanese collectors sets, first editions from the 90's, holos, ones from the movies, you name it. I'm 25 now and grew up in the 90's, I have some original cards from that era. Anyone know what I can do with these or where to get them fairly valued? Anyone else ever sell any?
I heard the Mew southern island set can go for a lot, I have a set in mint condition from Japan, there were three cards in it. I have gold-coated cards from Burger King as well still in the wrappers. Wouldn't mind getting rid of some debt with them if this Pokemon **** is hot still.
The normal poekmon anime show (with ash) is a very bad show. Every episode is a carbon copy of the one before it. Something something, "hi new person", something somethign. "Oh no its team rocket". something something "ash saves the day again". I have even watched some of the new ones to see if they had changed at all. They havent. The show is really only for like 10 year olds but i like the new animated show they have.
They expected the original audience to grow up and stop watching kids cartoons but nope you now have 20+ year old adults complain about constancy in a show that was only meant for 10 year olds.
I'm not trying to insult you in any way if that's what it came off as. I'm simply saying that ****** be complaining about a kids show for not pandering to them.
To clarify a little, There were a good few pokemon mangas. There's the cannon manga (Brutal af by the way), The pocket monster manga, which was a very crude, super non-cannon manga, and then Pikachu's electric tail. It pretty much takes the first season of the pokemon anime and condenses it down to a few books, and adds some of it's own stuff, like jessie and jame's relationship. From what I've been told it's worth the read for sure. The art is apparently a little more peverse, which isn't that bad until you realize they're 12 year olds.
they did the same thing to dragons...oh wait, only supper effective against other dragons, get them late game, they are a pain in the ass to train, and oh yeah ICE TYPE
