I'm sure some of you have seen this before, but which of the following is the first Pokemon?

FACT

The reason gary oak gets 10 badges is not, as some would have you believe, because he's a rank 1 badass motherfucker (although he most certainly is); the anime diverges slightly from the games, and has many more than 10 gyms throughout the region. To participate in the Pokemon League only requires a total of 8 of these badges. The Pokemon League challenge is also structured as a tournament in which you may only use 3 pokemon per matchup, with random terrains.

On the shiny Pokemon I always thought Pink butterfree was a shiny.

But they missed one.
Onix's shiny form appeared when Ash & co. went to an island in East Unova. This island is filled with the legends of a rare Onix and was encountered when Ash requested Meloetta sing a song to try to subdue a swarm of rampaging Onix. The song woke up the shiny Onix who managed to call off the other Onix

i thought the dark's weakness against bugs was because malaria was fucking up africa

-Other pokemon that have the same cry:

-The johto pokemon (152-251) were almost all fully designed with base stat totals and everything when red/blue came out, but there was not enough room in the game for them, so they were cut, hence the large number of glitch pokemon filling the remaining slots. This is where missingno came in.

-Scyther is one of the few pokemon in the game able to get 5 total stats over 300 without any boosting moves. with eviolite, he is capable of having everything but special attack reach levels over 300. Aside from Scyther, only Arceus has been able to do that that I know of.

-Bellosom and porygon2 are the only pokemon that are both smaller AND lighter than the pokemon they evolve from. Bellossom is smaller than both oddish and gloom.
-Alakazam, Venomoth, Salamence, and Gliscor are all lighter than their previous evolutions. Gengar and Dragonite are both smaller than their previous evolutions.

-If you were to list pokemon by their base stat totals, descending, the girst one to be non-legendary would be Slaking, at total 670.

-Arcanine has the highest base stat total of any non-legendary fire pokemon. Garchomp for dragon and ground, Tyranitar for rock and dark, Metagross for steel and psychic, Archeops for flying, Milotic for water, electivire for electricity, lapras for ice, tangrowth for grass, crobat for poison, infernape for fighting, dusknoir for ghost.

-Swampert has the highest base stat total of any starter pokemon.

-Flareon is the only fully evolved fire pokemon incapable of learning solarbeam.
-Omastar has the highest special attack of any rock pokemon, and the highest of any non-legendary water type.

Sceptile is best starter.

I truly think that the facts about why certain types are effective/weak against other types are false

I always thought that bug beat psychic because bugs brains don't have thoughts, they live only to work in colonies in such, therefore psychic powers have no effect on them

I also figured that ghost and dark pokemon beat psychic because psychics can't really comprehend or accept the existence of such things (Although, the fears one seems pretty accurate)

Lastly, I assumed that psychic beats poison because of reasons.
