I once had what I am convinced was the best idea ever. Pinnipeds (seals and sea lions and such) are used by the military to do everything from detecting enemy divers, in some cases disabling them by clamping weighted ropes to their legs, and naval mines. Since pinnipeds are so versatile and useful, I feel like we need to employ teams of attack walruses in the US Navy. Bear with me here. Imagine a wave of 3,500 lb. (about 1,600 kg) walruses in light or even heavy body armor storming a beach. Each one gouging down men left and right with steel or titanium reinforced tusks. No small arms fire is going to stop these blubbery juggernauts of death. The enemies have to fall back, regroup, and find explosives. But in retreating, they have given up the ground necessary for the walrus teams to flank around for a pincer maneuver. We lose some valuable walruses, but the enemy is entirely decimated. The enemy was expecting mere men, not the unstoppable flippered beasts of destruction that they got. I feel like we are missing out on a valuable opportunity to use these majestic creatures in the way they were designed to be used.

I don't think you understand what a walrus in bloodlust and wearing armor is capable of...
Small arms fire CANNOT stop a walrus once he has your scent. He will hunt you down, gouge you fifty times, then crush you and turn your body into jelly.

and it takes a ******* lot of them.
1 bullet in nearly any place can kill a man
Most walruses could survive at least 3

I used Inkscape,a free vector based program.
1.I put the original sketch in the first layer
2.I create a second layer
3.trace your lines with the pen tool, and either create a line (end tool with double click)
or a shape(end tool on starting point
4.make first layer invisible

line thickness can be adjusted if you open the tool properties

just ask,if you've got any more questions

Yea I remember messing about with Inkscape a few years back, just wondering if there was something that could do it automatically, since doing it manually with a mouse is very time consuming and quite a hassle, and good graphic tablets cost about as much as a kidney and a testicle

I use a mouse for inkscape, even though I have a tablet[spoiler] wacom bamboo [ You need to login to view this link lines involve a lot of scribbling,so,I am confined to inkscape for clean lines.I'm becoming faster and faster though.

I guess you can try to raise the contrast level on your scanner, but that only works so well...

I took the picture with my phone, and tried to increase the contrast in photoshop but all the speckles and random noise make it impossible, and lines are never smooth in photoshop
