Yeah, No one gave a **** when you could move diagonally in this series. and the first one was a gameboy game where you could do it. Or how about pokemon Colosseum? you could run in all directions. but nnnnnnnnope. Everyone complained about there being no gym leaders or 100% wild pokemon.

true, but diagonal movement could always be done, so long as there was a d pad.

the main series of pokemon games generally have little to no story, but the two gamecube pokemon games, and the mystery dungeon ones do. why would you bitch at all about them?

i never bitched about the side games, or the games themselves. im making a somewhat exxagerated complaint that no one cared about diagonal movement when it occured back then.

you obviously didn't read my comment, i was trying to clear things up by saying people in general, instead of "you". i wasn't talking about you bitching about them.

It's pertaining to the RPG series, just in case you haven't figured that out by now already.

Pokemon mystery dungeon is an action RPG, while pokemon Colosseum is an RPG like the main series.

Pokemon games can be divided into three major categories:
Main series games (every game ending with "Version" along with X and Y)
Side games (Colosseum and XD)
Spinoffs (Mystery Dungeon, Ranger, Trozei, Channel, and everything else)

These games mark the first time diagonal movement was possible in the main series games.
