Does anyone ever feel guilty for having that one pokemon we used as a sacrifice? Like when your starter was about to go down and you used that one pokemon that could take 2 hits just so you could full revive your starter. :\ still feel super guilty
tl;dr we're asshole trainers

I trained all my pokemon equally. So i never had one specific pokemon I used like that. It all depended on which of my pokemon was strongest against my current opponent.

I always order them from weakest to strongest, so that my weakest come out first; unless I'm going for a different strategy, that is.

This way, in training, the Pokemon get circulated and eventually the weakest becomes the strongest and the strongest becomes the weakest. In battles, the opponent's Pokemon get weakened by my weaker types, and then I save the best for last. When I'm not matching types, I'm always making sure the opponent is fighting an uphill battle, rather than downhill, because when my big guy is gone, it's all downhill from there. This also means the big attacks, especially those like self destruct, get wasted on my littler dudes.
