When a Cubone is born, it wears it's mother's skull as a mask. On the picture, they're visiting that Cubone's mother's grave.

Wait, if each Cubone wears the skull of its mother, then wouldn't the population of Cubone continue to decrease with each generation and eventually go extinct because each mother could only have 1 Cubone and it takes 2 Cubones to make another Cubone?

Pokemon doesn't work that way, they can be bred by other kinds of pokemons. In example, a Cubone's father can be a Nidoran, a Snorlax, Larvitar, Totodile, Treecko, Squirtle and their evolutions.

You've just given me an idea with that picture on how to make pokemon real. We don't need to make all the pokemon, just make mass amounts of ditto! Genetically create them and make pokeballs that have the ability to catch them based upon which pokemon they form to be.
