I usually just train em to lvl 100 and give them the moves with the least pp

my tank in my special sweeper by
beating mac ho to raise the
special EV level to 125. Maw if I can
just breed this pokemon 700 times
until I get the Pedal nature, which
raises its special attack up by E
points. After' that I should go get a
choice scarf and same leftovers hm
I have to raise its hp to a multiple
of 4 since leftovers raises the
health by MT...

I'm still like the lower panel. I don't give a fuck about stats or playing competitively. I just catch pokemon I like.

I just catch the Pokemon I like, try to get them at the lowest level so I can train them from the very beginning.

"Earthquaking all tha mothafuckas" is actually still a pretty effective strategy in pokemon.
People make it out to be a lot more complex than it actually is. I mean, the actual theorycrafting is hard, complex shit, but you don't even need that. It's like saying you've got to know how to write a sim to be able to play MMOs, or that a pitcher's got to know how to do the numerical physics for every pitch he throws. Sure, it might help... but you're still going to be incredibly successful otherwise if you know some basics and are good at the actual game part of the game.
