No, the three only ghost types in the game were also poison type, psychic-type attacks are supereffective against poison

and the only Ghost attacks were Nightshade, which dealt your level in damage, and Lick which was a base power 10 attack. Same goes for Bug being the only damaging bug type moves were Leech Life which had a base power of 25, Pin Missile base power 14, and Twin Needle which could only be learned by Beedrill and had a base power of 25.
