Calm down people, I'm just sharing something I found.

Ninfia or Nympheon is the first two Eevee evolutions to he introduced in

Dari: type , Nympheon Gen VI is one the first Light type
Much We the Dark, Pyschic, Fighting ant) the Grass, Water, Fire
trinities, Light complete a trinity with Dragon ant) Steel types. As
when Magnemite ant) Magneton retroactively had Steel added to their
types, most the Fairy egg group will have Light added as a secondary
type, such as Chansey, Nadine, ant) Clefairy_

sperm code tor this.

My biggest problem with this:
How can light form a trinity with dragon and steel?
dragon doesnt beat steel and steel doesnt beat dragon
So its impossible to make a trinity like fire/water/grass or dark/psychic/fighting

Apart from the source code bit is bullshit. I looked at it, complete waste of time. The new eeveelution is a flying, or at least part flying. As for this crappy light type, people have been craving that since the introduction of the Steel and Dark types. (And just remember that Dark type in japanese is called Evil, and Fighting is called Hero type) Since they haven't added it in by now, they probably will never do.

Now seriously, Ninfia, at least in my eyes, seem to be based on Nymphs of the greek mythology, specifically Celestial Nymphs, who, despite the name, aren't any more "divine" that any other nymph, they mostly represent the wind and forms of air(though at least one type do represent stars, IIRC), ergo, Ninfia=Flying type.

But why? Dark and Steel were added primary for balance reasons, and being added early made the change ok. But to add a new type for no real good reason this late seems just bizarre.

they can't, its too far into the series. I just don't think its worth it when many of the pokemon that could be light type could easily fall under the normal, electric, or psychic type
