Blue and Blue: Shiny Things

Partially based on an actual even that happened with my cousin and I. He got his first shiny within 3 days of playing his first Pokemon game. Luckily, I finally caught one and can consider my life finally complete.

Everybody's sharing shiny stories... but I've never gotten one in my life.

Cept for red gyarados. But that **** don't count.

So I'm going to post these epic ******* pictures to compensate.

One of my only shinies was a bidoof.
A ******* BIDOOF
There's not even really a difference between the shiny and normal.

You wanna talk about rare? Forget about shinys, try the Pokérus.

More than twice as less likely than finding a shiny Pokémon, and you also can't see it, meaning that the only way for it to pass to your Pokémon would be to attack a wild Pokémon with a physical attack that happens to have it. Extremely unlikely.

I managed to attack a Golbat playing Sapphire last year which had it.

i remember in a play through of emerald i was in the magma hideout and after several zubats and geodudes, i came across a SHINY GRAVELER, as you could imagine i was excited and after several turns of picking away at its HP it used SELF DESTRUCT. that was one of the saddest days of my life

In all my years of Pokemon on GBA, i never found a shiny except for this one damn Pokemon in Emerald that was owned by a trainer in this battle tower near the desert area.

The next time i saw one, was before i even fought the first gym leader in soul silver,, a ghastly,, did not have any pokeballs.

I've had 3 shinies, and saw one. First was a shiny Spinda, before I even knew what shinies were.I got a shiny Druddigon in Pokemon Black. The first time I played Pokemon Black I saw a shiny Stunfisk but wasn't aware that it was shiny. Feelsbadman. And lastly. My shiny Charizard, which took me a summer of hatching Charmander eggs to get. I've still got a ton of Charmanders just sitting in my box.

tl;dr Shiny Charizard.

I really feel like i should post this comment because this information might be useful for people who might want to buy a pokemon game soon, but are worried about how soon the new ones might be out. I'm basing info on American release dates.

In times of Gameboy Color, we were given 3 RPG games, Gold and Silver (2000) and Crystal 2001, < just before game boy advance was release.
1 1/2ish years later, we were given the first Pokemon games for game boy advance, Ruby and Sapphire, (2003), now they released Pokemon Firered and Pokemon Leafgreen in 2004,
the point of the remakes was that if they made 2 totally new games with new pokemon, trading with ruby and sapphire would not work because the new pokemon would probably not register, or some attacks might not be scene and that can cause problems,
then we were given Pokemon Emerald, 2005, (my personal favorite) a different version of Ruby and Sapphire,
The DS came out in early March 2006, and a year and a half or so after that, pokemon diamond and pearl arrived, same pattern, we had 2 remakes in America released in 2010,, why did it take that long? who knows, (Heart Gold, Soul Silver) march, we got pokemon black and white

So what was the point? well its been nearly a year since a Pokemon game came out, and they might plan on moving to the 3DS , this however, might **** up trading Pokemon over, and kill off more ******** players because you might have to buy a 3DS, however, unless Nintendo can make the game chips, wireless update pokedex's, the next games are going to be a remake of what is probably going to be Ruby and Sapphire,

I forgot to mention, there were 2 rpgs released on the gamecube, XD gale of darkness, and coliseum, its been a very long time since we have had a console pokemon RPG, the new one for WII "battle revolution" imo is inferior in so many ways i would have to make another damn list,

Hope this was somewhat helpful, thank you for reading, goodnight, i'm tired.
