Pic related, professor decided to prove stokes's theorem in our calc 3 course the pen-ultimate day of the semester. Looks more complicated than it is, but ****** intense.
Every time I hear a person say they suck at math, I immediately think that they are a moron. Math is simple, you follow the instructions. Literally there is an introductory section for each chapter in each book that teaches you how to solve every generic type of problem in that section.
Math isn't some voodoo that only smart people understand, it's the most basic form of problem solving and thinking available. If you can't compute basic math problems, take your life.
Don't like it? Tough. People don't like to do work, and if everyone took your attitude towards math we'd all be living in ******** in Africa.
I can handle most math, however, anything that involves Sin, cos, tan, or their counterparts confuses the hell out of me.
Maybe it's just that I never had a good teacher when I was learning this, but It bothers me that I can't seem to figure it out.
It's just applied logic, maybe if people went into maths lessons with an open mind instead of telling themselves they'd hate it, a lot more people would enjoy it and take it further.
Are you posting this **** trying to look smart? I'm good at maths but at least I can understand that some people just CAN'T do it. It may appear like everyone else is just telling themselves that they hate maths, and that's why they can't learn it, but you don't know how much effort they might have put into learning maths when they were younger. Then when they couldn't understand it back then, THAT's what made them hate it. Their reason for hating it is probably BECAUSE they can't learn it. It's most likely not the other way around, which is what your argument is saying.
