Well if you go by Easter (when he rose) it would be on a Friday, but its not like they actually knew when he was crucified when they made the holiday

We actually know that it happened during Jewish Easter holidays. Also they needed to crucify him before the sunset because of Sabbath beginning after it so it was probably Friday or Thursday.....

I don't get what Mondays has to do with this. According to the bible (I really don't want to discuss religion on FJ, so I'm just relaying the story) Jesus was put on trial Thursday night, crucified on Friday, and resurrected on Sunday. Literally there is no way you can relate Monday to this.
