yes but they're both used for the same things

it's more for protecting the sperm from the walls of the urethra and the vagina because they have some acid on them from the pee which will kill the sperm

Yeah, I was going to say, girls don't pee from their vaginas.

For girls, it's a form of mucus secreted by internal mucus membranes in the vagina which provide lube so that sex does not hurt the female or male's genitalia. If a tear in the vaginal wall happens it could be lethal, since air is being shoved in and out with the penis.
