How long have you been smoking for? My grandfather has been smoking for 20 years and he decided to stop. 2 later he passed out of cancer. Same thing happened with my friend. Not trying to scare you, but if you smoked for more than 10 years and then just gave up, It's not a good idea.

Not really, your grandpa was just a really rare case. Mine smoked for 57 years then quit cold turkey 2 years ago. He's fine. The only thing wrong with him is that he gained a few pounds after he retired. And that had nothing to do with smoking.

Instantly giving up is never good, you're better off wheening off nicotine, other then the fact you get irritated and the latter of symptoms, if can cause yourself health problems, it's the same with anything really.
