Nah, not a reference, specifically. But the character was from it, yeah.
All honesty? Great game, really deserves its praises in the story, however I can see why some people don't like it "Meme game, Tumblr, ****** retro game, etc." but all in all, it's all very very well made. My recommendation is play it without knowing much about it, but make your own choice on it.
HOWEVER: If you really want to have the best experience,
Do not kill anyone your first time around, or second (you'll see why second)
I loved Paper Mario, especially the N64 one, but Undertale was really... mediocre for me. Probably because everyone was talking about it so much it ruined everything storyline in the first week, but I never really cared for the characters that much. Especially Papyrus. That ****** was annoying.
I said that mostly because the combat sequences are scripted rather than the usual RPG,
That's what set Paper mario aside from other rpg's that you'd see around that time it was released like any fireemblem game or dragon quest game for final fantasy from that time
it was, Go out, Random black out, fight small baddies. The Boss in the dungeon that proclaims himself as da new God of a new world order, defeated repeat. While for paper mario you could avoid all the ****** little encounters and the boss fights most of the time were used as a mode of medium to keep telling the story. Like for example. The Tubba blubba fight in the first paper mario. After you realized you couldnt ******* kill him. They made you Run away with the ****** chase you. which funnily enough, A boss in Undertale does
I don't know if it's just me, but I honestly don't care if a game is "spoiled." I still play it regardless. My experience with Undertale began and ended "spoiled." I had seen clips, read spoilers, pretty much committed every story/experience-preservation crime possible, and the game still dragged me to tears unlike any game had before. I tend to play it because I like to feel like I controlled the actions of the character, and not just heard of what they did in the game or watched it happen to someone else. For some reason, playing it for myself still feels fresh to me. Again, might just be me, but whatever.
undertales story is made more and more milked and cringy with every post
im past attempting to care about it anymore, i just red thumb them and move on. its boring as **** . "oh but its so unique! u dont have to kill anyone! omg the feels!" gets old fast.
Yeah, any good thing is ruined by the fanatics, you don't have to even care about those things to know that, and I guess that's kind of where my experience differed. I'm not going to shout its praises 24/7 and end up looking like a total die-hard faggot, all I will say is that objectively, the game was well built, good soundtrack, and then the tumblrfags and fanbase hijacked the stupid thing and are draining it like the voids they are. That's why I suggested going in with no experience.
Again, though, circular argument, because that **** is posted goddamn everywhere, so not being spoiled/knowing about it is a challenge to say the least.
Same thing happened with ponies, except the show itself was at least effeminate in the first place before all the weirdos came in and overran the damn thing.
**dykefights used "*roll picture*"** **dykefights rolled image**It's a shame you're gay, you're a good looking fella. I'd let you suck my dick, if you were straight, that is.
BTW I forgot to wish you well for the future, with your hopefully soon to be husband! Don't invite any of us to the wedding. The last thing you want at a wedding is a bunch of faggots.
We assumed you were a girl because girls are not normally on the internet. You are not normal and you are on the internet, therefore you must be a girl.
Well as I said, it's not an elf (although I can see why people think that)
The ears and gold eyes (when colored) and name is a reference to a character in a comic I made in high school about werewolves. When I got older, I realized how stupid the comic was and got rid of it but it held a close place to my heart, so I recycled traits from the MC.
Otherwise, the avatar looks exactly like me. Same hairstyle, skin tone, etc.
Also: Inuyuru is a made up name for the main character. Inu=Dog in Japanese and Yuru is some kind of malaysian soup. The joke was to make a name that sounded intimidating but literally means nothing like the character himself. I recycled the name as my pen name and Inuyuru was born.
But now you have the good comic with the demon gals that made it into my bookmarks (which is not as easy as it seems with the number of webcomics I read)
Jack Cayless is literally my favorite webcomic producer of all time, but it is literally impossible to find a copy of chimneyspeak to read anymore, and Jack lost all of the original files due to computer failure. I died inside, and Redd got shut down because of UK porn laws. But I definitely took some influences from his style
But yeah, if you ever find a torrent or anything of Chimneyspeak I will have your boyfriend suck your dick, because I've been looking for one for over a year now.
i knew you were black because im not a ******* noodle and saw you were black in your avatar
hair color was a surprise though, but how many black people do you know who have natural brown/blonde hair?
Was it not stated that you were male? Either people are new or they have poor observation skills.
I didn't know what I expected you to look like. I almost never do with anyone online. But like I said before, you do look like a really chill dude.
I wouldn't mind being buds, i need more friends tbh. After highschool you realize how alone you actually are, only having 1 or 2 actual friends aftermath.
