There actually is a kind of worm that makes you scratch your butt, especially at night. The reason for that is reproductive, of course. It kinda crawls on the edge of your anus at night and lays eggs, then bites you or something so you'd scratch your butt and help spread the eggs.

Yeah you scratch and the eggs get on your hand. Then when you eat breakfast the next day you ingest the eggs and they can hatch inside your intestines to produce more ass-worms.
