By striking similarity do you mean they both look like typical Egyptian bombshells? Plus their hair/bangs aren't all that alike, and their jewelry is different.
Loads of women obsess over Christian Grey; a manipulative sociopath who stalks a woman, attacks strangers, takes advantage of a drunk girl and pushes her into a sex contract...
If Christian Grey was poor and ugly 50 shades would be a horror movie...
Wit the the modern application of being cunning and quick thinking. It suggests an ability to protect and provide.
You'll be required to initiate conversation but provided you display a measure of confidence and don't soil yourself mid-conversation the odds are more in your favour than you'd think.
Actually don't both of those apply to the people seen in the comic? The men want women for what they can give them eye candy and tiddies . And the women want the guy for what they are rich. Those can both work both ways. tiddies though
"who they are" is personality. Men want women who look good. You can't change how attractive you are but things like status and money can be earned and changed.
Biologically it all comes down to who is the best mate for having kids.
Men generally go after caring athletic girls with wide hips and big boobs who want lots of sex. Because this means lots of healthy kids.
Women are attracted to the guy who is going to be the best provider (money nowadays rather than hunting) and who will be the best at defending from rivals (muscle bound and aggressive - or really respected and powerful). Because this also leads to lots of healthy kids.
You do know that big boobs has nothing to do about healthy kids (because please don't even start on that big boobs give more milk, that is laughable, there is a reason boobs grow during pregnancy), and wide hips only help minor on giving birth and doesn't make the child healthier right? I would know, my hips are wide and giving birth still hurt like **** . But I have a pretty, healthy baby so I got that going for me which is nice. :p
You've got to remember how far back these evolutionary things go - these attractions predate speech and the ability to count and write. Bigger boobs were a better indicator of being old enough to carry a child to term and feed it.
I hardly believe they thought that when we "couldn't speak or count and write" as they would live in scarce environments and hunting for daily food. They had no means to fatten up, and so women wouldn't have large breast as they consist mostly of fat. (And no I am not talking healthy skinny here, I am talking sinewy skinny). Curves as a beauty standard is actually quite a new concept that started during the medieval era.
But being rich technically means being able to take care of an offspring, which is naturally attractive for us women as well as being attracted to hot chicks is for you, only in our case the attraction is not as strong because we judge a man by more factors, I dare say.
Both cases are equally ****** up, though, because having a pretty face and nice tits has nothing to do with good genes as the person may be dumb as a stump or have a genetic disease or something, and neither does being rich.
TL;DR humans are ****** up.
But they aren't thinking of how good their child's life will be they just want expensive clothes. And guys are attracted to certain body parts for birthing reasons (wide hips).
But yeah you make a fair point it's not really justified. No one can be blamed though, you don't choose who you think is pretty, and girls can't help wanting nice things
I think it's subconsciously connected - when he's able to take care of the woman so well, he'll obviously be able to take care of the kid. I agree with the wide hips point, that is indeed perfectly natural and rational. What I don't understand, however, is why is the face becoming the most important part of a woman? I saw a study (well, "study", it was a post on the internet with some statistics that seemed to be reasonable enough to be true) that most men judge by a woman's face, not really boobs or hips. Which is really weird considering that a pretty face has nothing to do with the ability to pop out a healthy child.
You're right though, we can hardly choose who we're attracted to.
Supposedly men initially look at a woman's face to determine two things: one, to see if the woman appears "interested" in the man, as well as determine their youth. The second one I'm not sure if I buy into 100%, but I could understand it as an adaptation to clothing since in 99% of public settings you do not really get a clear view of a woman's assets to determine how fit/young they are.
As a guy, I can kind of relate. If a girl is walking towards me and I were to check them out, the first thing I would look at would be their face. If they would make eye contact with me or smile at me, I would automatically be more attracted to them than if they just looked the other way or ignored me. But that's just me. No I don't stare at girls all day
i did not say it made you a good parent, just that its natural to seek out security
also it alone wont make you a good parent but its pretty damn hard to properly take care of a kid if your poor as ****
But money doesn't equal security. Money is often won and lost, companies collapse etc... I did say ''You need some money'' but gold diggers don't want some they want as much as they can get..
THANK you! I commented on one of those golddigger prank videos how everyone was shaming the women for only going for the guy for his money but it's somehow fine that he was choosing girls for looks only.
