So I thumbed down a comment, got 5 red thumbs on my own comments from the user I thumbed down and I got my first hater. Yesterday was a good day.

Also, I made this on MS Paint (again) because I have no proper editing programs. If these do alright I'll get some and make better looking comics.

So, this comic has done pretty well (by my standards) and I guess I'll have to make good on my promise to get actual drawing software and post more. Hopefully they'll be much better and maybe I'll even start an actual series. Had a weird idea for a series that I'm trying to make sense of a little. See you magnificent bastards in the future.

there was a giveaway of some sorts and i entered.

after a while i noticed i got a red pinkie.
saw it was some random guy.
went to the thread and saw he did it to everyone.
he thumbed down 50+ people so he would be in the lead.
so i went and thumbed up everyone he thumbed down.

i felt like a fireman or something. wee woo all up in this ****

Kinda like how after a themed content hits the point where it dissapears off of the front page and someone goes and thumbs 100% of the posters down.

Or those people who accuse other people of doing that after thumbing two or three posts into the negatives. I know there are a few people out there that go through their negative post votes and block the first person to put them into the negatives that coincided with other people voting them down.

It really is a pain in the butt. Sometimes I only feel free to vote when I'm signed out.

That sounds almost exactly like what happened to us Top Commenters years ago.

It was ~2009. I used to be ShyGuyLink, and I was #20.
Someone/some people made some scripts and were doing INSANE amounts of red thumbing on all top commenters. Also got random hate from anonymous users.
I ended up deleting my profile because I was a butthurt lil bitch.

This is why I don't like how the blocking system works. Losing an argument? Block the opponent! Then you can convince yourself that the reason they stopped replying is your superior logic! Want to insult someone, but don't want to receive backlash? Block them to! You can insult them all you want in your hugbubble of safety! Someone have the audacity to question something you've said? Instead of explaining yourself, call them a nme and block them, ensuring both the last word, and the ability to tell them they should never questions your obvious, cyclically natured logic!

If admin were to just make it where blocking someone had the same effects on you as it did the person you blocked, no one would think to abuse it as a petty trolling technique.
