No offense, but whoever stays home is in charge of making dinner. If both people do not actually have a job that involves getting paid, you are in charge of making dinner, cleaning, and laundry. If that's a woman, who cares. If it's a man, who cares.
User avatar #23 to #4 - goobyman (04/01/2015) [-]
my mom works nightshift every second week. we always make dinner for her.
there is no ******* thing as sexism and inequality in our household. everyone does what needs to be done. Sometimes dad will clean the house, sometimes it's me or my brother.
we work smarter, not harder, like those feminists.
#26 to #4 - killemusen (04/01/2015) [-]
my mom hardly ever makes dinner, since she is propably the worst of us all at making food, it is primarily done by me and my dad.
User avatar #30 to #4 - potrsr (04/01/2015) [-]
Indeed. Even if you're crappy cook at least prepear something fo the other to make when he comes home. Last year when I lived with a roommate who was also my classmate he was the cook. He made everything and I was the one cleaning it. I think this is fair.
User avatar #33 to #4 - dawggz (04/01/2015) [-]
Fun fact but my mom works and dad stays at home, cooks lunch and brings it to my mom, cooks dinner for us etc, and I do the laundry and clean the house.
Win-win.

I like you. Right now it's me, obviously (since I'm making comics).

my girlfriend works like 6 days a week, because of my crappy job i only do like 3-4 most weeks, we take turns making dinner but if one of us has a crappy/long day the other usually makes dinner. equality is nice.

>hey honey i'm back from earning us a living
>did you do one of the two things that you do all day, since you have no job, we have no kids, and live in a small apartment?
User avatar #24 - crazycatladymedusa (04/01/2015) [-]
Lol... I would never accuse my bf of being sexist. I enjoy making dinner for him. Doing the whole.. wifey type thing. It makes me feel valuable in our relationship. Women who don't clean or cook I think.. are just lazy and making up bs excuses not to do it. It's a nice thing to do for your spouse. Male or female.

-230 yet that comment made some logical sense not sure if trolling or correct
User avatar #25 to #24 - dragonandpenguin [OP](04/01/2015) [-]
Glad to have a female commenter. Yes, I do it as well, the "me" in the comic is set up for comic punchline purposes. In reality I was teasing him about being sexist and he came back at me with that line.

M..m...muhsoggynee

I agree! He should be a stay at home husband and make the dinner while she goes to work and comes home tired.
User avatar #6 to #1 - dragonandpenguin [OP](04/01/2015) [-]
LOL, but in all honesty, we both didn't think of that when he said it. It was just funny.
User avatar #9 to #6 - scarredwolf (04/01/2015) [-]
Good
I hate it when people start getting all politically correct and worrying about everything they say, thats no the way to live ya' ken?
User avatar #12 to #9 - dragonandpenguin [OP](04/01/2015) [-]
Me too. Some things are just supposed to be funny and not to be taken so seriously. Hence I started this series. I will be doing one that might piss off feminists a little bit later on.
#18 to #12 - scarredwolf (04/01/2015) [-]
I go by the belief that "going too far" is subjective
And frankly i dont give a **** ehat they think
Because i thought it was funny

umm how is that sexist? he is asking if dinner is ready...
User avatar #11 to #8 - dragonandpenguin [OP](04/01/2015) [-]
That's more or less a gentle punchline. Women get so offended nowadays.
#31 - mastercolossus (04/01/2015) [-]
i did this once. came home after working my job to ask my mom what was for dinner and she yelled at me that she wasnt supposed to feed me because she is a woman. i told her i was 17 and she was legally obligated to feed me because she is my parent. this was back in like 2002.
User avatar #44 to #31 - mirukawa (04/01/2015) [-]
******* rekt
User avatar #48 to #31 - dragonandpenguin [OP](04/02/2015) [-]
Dude, that's funny. In reality I was just teasing him about being sexist, I don't know if any woman actually did this.. now I do. The whole point of this is that the original question isn't supposed to be sexist. I hope your mom has changed her mindset since then..
#49 to #48 - mastercolossus (04/02/2015) [-]
my mother is crazy. bipolar crazy.
User avatar #41 - rossodonavanv (04/01/2015) [-]
this has nothing to do with sexism it's just a basic ass ******* question.
That's like
>black dude comes into a store and buys bag of chips
>That will be $0.50
>tch. Racist
#42 to #41 - seniornsfw (04/01/2015) [-]
>bag of chips
>$0.50

Tch.
User avatar #47 to #41 - dragonandpenguin [OP](04/02/2015) [-]
That's the whole point. It's not a sexist question. I made myself say that for a reason and to poke a little fun at over-zealous feminists.
User avatar #27 - stallwallwriter (04/01/2015) [-]
If I were calling my boyfriend sexist in a situation like this it would probably be the start of a joke, so that's not actually a bad reply.
#45 - bahtzee (04/01/2015) [-]

#34 - anon (04/01/2015) [-]
I'm sure women don't actually do this...
plus, maybe she was supposed to make dinner that night.
User avatar #35 to #34 - dragonandpenguin [OP](04/01/2015) [-]
Just to clear things up a little, I'm that girl in the comic. The only reason why I put it like that is to set it up for the punchline. In reality, I was teasing him because being sexist, and he knew that I was being funny. This is a bit of a poke at over-zealous feminists too. Plus, I always make him dinner.
User avatar #29 - thedutchs (04/01/2015) [-]
If you're home earlier, you make dinner.
User avatar #10 - grimsho (04/01/2015) [-]
"my bf"
Oh so that means the author is the one trying start sexism-based arguments for no reason?
User avatar #13 to #10 - dragonandpenguin [OP](04/01/2015) [-]
Ya got me. I do that on a regular basis.

However, the difference between the comic and me is that I do it for the fun, and he knows that, that's how I get the material for my comics.
#19 - drprofdoctor (04/01/2015) [-]
I really love these. I've sent two of them to my girlfriend because they're hilarious and the dude is pretty much me, in a nutshell. Randomly licks, Stupid terrible punny comebacks, more random licks......

The one I saw right before this one reminded me of 2 nights ago. Laying in bed, girlfriend thinks she can start and end a lick war with one lick. Boy was she wrong. She proceeds to fight me as I try to return the licks. Of course, her flailing arms managed to scratch me RIGHT in the corner of my eye where it is meaty. MFW GIant eye boogers for the next 2 days....

dragonandpenguin, the two most talented 7th grade artists around. God blessem
#50 - anon (04/02/2015) [-]
Hey dragonandpenguin, why do you draw yourself in such a negative manner? In each of your comics, it's always your boyfriend that's having a good time and smiling. You're usually the buzzkill. Do you do that on purpose?
User avatar #51 to #50 - dragonandpenguin [OP](04/02/2015) [-]
Yep. I know what some people are thinking, are you insecure? Why do you purposely do this? Well, the setup just makes the punchline funnier, and sometimes that's really my reaction back at him. It's a way for me to share my "pain" with the rest of the world and at the same time making it relatable and funny. There's not much more to it than that.

I've already put in a comic where I throw something back at him, but it's not as popular as this one. There will be more where I throw something back at him though.
