Just realised that I posted the female version of this.

When I have to get up to use the bathroom late at night, not looking into the bathroom mirror is essentially a law.

Apparently having a mirror facing your bed is considered bad thing in feng shui. It can be explained as our brain keep observing the surrounding even we're asleep, and its like having some1 looking at you in your sleep. Moreover when you wake up at night, you don't wanna see your reflection staring at you too.

I usually feel that if I look long enough into the mirror, straight into my own eyes, the image will morph into some wierd devil/demon thing. I try me best to avoid it, at night that is.

Every time I look into a mirror, I start thinking about how I am not nearly good enough to live up to my own expectations of myself. Then, another part of me says "Not good enough...yet." I then get a sudden burst of resolve and teach myself vector calculus, conceptual quantum electro-dynamics, general chemistry, or whatever else overnight so I can feel better about myself.

My expectations of myself are insane. Not sure if that is a good or a bad thing.

P.S.: I am now fighting off an urge to learn organic chemistry or maybe genetics.

After watching mirror I would try to see if I could move faster than my reflection, Sweet celestia I probably looked like an idiot.
