What? I thought roast was to diss someone in a humorous manner. To make a joke at someone's expense. It sure as hell isn't "being severely criticized or reprimanded".

watshisface (12/19/2015) [-] Roast means exactly that definition. The only reason you think the criticism has to be humorous is because the most severe criticisms have poetic devices used to portray the intensity of the criticisms.
