Same goes for people who use chainsaws, have barking dogs, rev their cars and/or motorcycles, play loud music, “holler at their old lady” or snap a twig anywhere within 20 miles of my residence before 8:00 on any given Saturday morning.

I have a German Shepherd who barks a lot and can't really be an inside dog. A dude in the apartments behind us was yelling at us us meaning me and my cousins who were about elementary school age that he was going to get a gun and shoot our dogs. We never saw that man again. my dog ate him kidding, either my uncle called the cops on him or he moved. The apartments behind us are filled with druggies. I went in there once for a ride-along with cops and the hallway reeked of marijuana. They just quietly accepted it and knocked on the door they had to check up on before leaving

We do our best to control him, but he's not the only dog that barks in our neighbourhood by a long shot. If we had it our way we'd keep him on a farm somewhere, but alas we live in the city.

Anyway, just because other dog(s) are barking in your neighborhood does not mean you should allow your dog to bark just because. Almost everyone in my street has little lapdogs that like to bark and aren't trained in the slightest. I've heard a German Shepard bark, and I can safely say that if it isn't trained well and likes to bark regularly, then whoever lives beside you has the right to be pissed off. Not to the extent where you'd shoot the dog, though. **** that.

But yeah, maybe your dog can do with some training, that's just the stuff you have to deal with when you have a big dog. for you. Or train him yourself, it can mean the world of difference.

I wasn't using it as justification, I was just saying it's not abnormal in my neighbourhood. People do have the right to be pissed. For the most part he's silent, and when he does bark we take turns going out and getting him to shush; I either play with him and pet him for a bit or bring him inside.

I was a kid when we got him so I wasn't really involved with any of the training. He really did need to be trained better, but me and my siblings were too young, my parents had no time, and my grandpa grew up on a farm in India where the dogs didn't really have to be trained that well. He's at the end of his years now and the kids are away from home almost year for schooling. I'm gonna see him go out happy, but if and when I get another dog in the future I'll do a much better job .

German Shepards are smart. You're doing something wrong if he won't learn. Playing with him when he barks is just rewarding him for barking. My grandma has a small mutt, which I didn't train in anyway specifically, but when I tell him to shush he just shuts the **** up. He knows who's the master and who's the pet.

He listens to me when us when we say shush. I literally just said I was a kid when we got him so I didn't train him. It might be "rewarding" him but most of the reason he barks is at things; we live near a police station so if he's barking up a storm it helps to just take his attention away.

I feel you man, I am the owner of two dachshunds and I tried to train them but it's imposible, they're too stubborn. Whereas the male one is obedient the female one won't stop barking no matter what you do. Training a dog can be hard sometimes, so I don't see why the other guy was being so harsh.

My parents do this and it pisses the neighbors off and my parents think it's their fault for being mad. "Dogs are gonna bark" "it's not against the rules"

My next door neighbor has been doing maintenance or something on his boat's engine at 6 in the morning every other day. I don't know what the **** he's doing, he just revs it up over and over again and sometimes there'll be a pause but he goes back to revving it over and over. It goes on for like an hour.

I mow my lawn a 7pm on Tuesdays because that's when people on my street get home from work

Then the Fire Siren goes off at 8 I don't know why but its just goes on and off for about 10 minutes every day at this time. It's also located in my neighbors backyard and has been declared Town Property so they can't do **** about it

Then I start barbecuing my dinner around 830

Finally I walk both dogs at 9, followed by a few games of some nice relaxing Any Moba with my windows open for air until 1am

Read Jojo for 2 hours, go to bed, wake up and start Pool/Tree Maintenance

He is saying that if you kill people that make noise at unacceptable times, (such as having a radio too loud at 8pm near an old farts home), or mowing your lawn too early, people are allowed to kill you and the police will call it a suicide, even if it is pretty fcking ovbious what went on.

I have the barking dog and trust me, we feel terrible about it. Alot of us are trying to help them get better at it but some times they can be very stubborn. Imagine being the parent of an autistic child who always screams and you love him but its embarrassing and the neighbors understand you but hate you at the same time.
