That's not entirely true, as in the clopper=furry part.

You can be a furry without being a clopper, but the second you fap to mlp youre both a clopper and a furry.

Being a furry is being a fan of the anthropomorphic qualities of various characters, whether sexually or non sexually. liking a character, who happens to be anthropomorphic (something human with inhuman qualities, IE fur/scales or is quadrupedal), doesn't make someone a furry, unless they like that character BECAUSE they happen to be anthropomorphic.

Even if they find that character to be sexually attractive, it still doesn't automatically make them a furry, because they can form an attraction for reasons other than their physical (animal-like) qualities. for instance, people can form an attraction purely based on a character's personality.

if you google 'define anthropomorphism' you get 'The attribution of human characteristics or behavior to a god, animal, or object.' as a definition. Assuming google isn't wrong your definition was flip flopped and a highly developed personality is a human trait so by definition the ponies of MLP are anthropomorphic, but someone who likes anthropomorphicsm isn't necessairly a 'furry'; eg I like Bugs Bunny. Bugs Bunny is a 6ft tallbipedal, talking rabbit. (bipedal and talking are human traits being attributed to a rabbit; therefor he is anthropomorphic) does that make every one who has ever seen loony tunes a 'furry'? Semantic-wise yes, but I feel that if you just enjoy the characters privately and you don't interact with other members of the fandom regularly then you fall into a 'furry but not really' niche. So coming from both a brony and a furry I'd say that if the brony in question doesn't look for non-brony fan art (eg wolfy-nail or other anthro artists) then they are just bronies, the moment they start looking for furry stuff they become furrys.
