Actually, Talia will be in the movie. There will be scenes from 30 years prior to the setting of the movie showing Ra's Al Ghul younger, and with Talia as his little daughter, portrayed by Joey King. Marion Cotillard is in the movie as a board member of Wayne Enterprises. And though Cotillard denied she has a duel identity of old Talia, she could have been told to lie because, well, producers like to keep secrets secret.

It's 'cause the Dark Knight series tries to make Batman as realistic as he can possibly be and portray him as not just a rooftop hopping crime fighter but gives him a political role as well.

honestly if they made him look like he does in the comics he would look silly, i feel how they have made him in the movie is perfectly logical, and i trust that the directors and artists behind the movie will pull it of flawlessly

Don't get me wrong, I like the way they got the actor (his name currently eludes me and I can't be asked to wiki him at the moment) to bulk up (which is what they should have done with venom in Spiderman 3), but I dislike the way they've made him wear the mask because "it gives him an anaesthetic because of a debilitating injury" rather than give him a steroid that pushes his pain threshold and stamina.
I just feel that it's too much of an unnecessary change in the character, another example of which I can't think of. In Begins, I understand the need to make Ra'as Al Ghul mortal and the use of doubles is a good substitute to the Lazarus Pits. Scarecrow is essentially the same as the comics so no beef with that. Joker is brilliant as most people would agree, and while he uses make up instead of the "fixed" make up, it's a minor change and works with the realistic nature of the nolanverse, as does the Glasgow smile. Two Face is also good and the way the Joker turned him from Harvey to Two Face is awesome, while they didn't have him have schizophrenia or multiple personalities, the revenge quest worked well and it was a shame they killed him off.

i feel like it was a necessary change, because in reality nobody other than a sports player would willingly take a steroid, so the inhaled steroid due to a disease is a bit more logical in my mind. But im confident it will still be an awesome experience, and i hope that bane is actually as cool as in the comics

Well, if he's working for the League of Shadows as the trailers and what info there is is true, he could take the steroid as a means of enhancement, a test for a supersoldier type program to make their assassins/soldiers more deadly for example. There are plenty of comics/tv shoes/other films where they use similar methods to create more powerful soldiers, it seems this would have been a good time to use it, with the extra of it being incredibly addictive (similar to how venom is in the comics) and therefore scraped from further use on others.

He's probably the best Robin since he's raised by the league of assassins and is Bruce's clone.

Hey, I kinda like Damien. He shows promise.

You can't really consider him a Robin though... He ends up becoming Batman anyway. Then again... Dick Grayson became Batman for a while as well...
