zombie story pt 1 of however many i feel

I looked out of my window after waking up to see something strange... my neighbor Jeff, who was usually only out of his house to get his newspaper and then retreat back inside, Was just standing on his front lawn. seeing this i went outside to ask what he was doing. And as i got closer i felt that something was wrong, i shouted his name a couple times and thats when it happened...he sprinted toward me with an almost primal growl and knocked me over and as he passed so did the stench of decaying flesh. i struggled to my feet as he turned around and made a second run at me. i lept out of the way wondering why he would do this then it clicked. i had heared on the news recently of an outbreak of a neuro-degenerating bacteria that strips away all but the most basic instincts,and that the government had declared martial law because it was happening in so many places that, looting and riots were happening and the guard couldn't handle the widespread chaos. i then realized that in the few seconds from when i was on the ground to when i was back on my feet had things gotten worse. My brother had come out to see what was going on, i yelled for him to stop, but it was too late. what used to be jeff was on top om my brother tearing him apart with his fingers and with his final breath shouted "camden kill it!"...
