That is a wolf spider. They're typically harmless and their bites usually do not cause much damage like a Brown Recluse bite. The guy was probably trying to run from the finger. If you listen closely, you can probably hear the spider going,"AHHHHHHHHH OH SHIT IT'S GONNA EAT ME!"

1) It's not a Brown Recluse
2) There is not a single confirmed death due entirely to a brown recluse in the US. The only recorded deaths are due to an allergic reaction to the bite. Kind of like when a person who is allergic to bees gets stung.

Most Recluse bites will only cause local swelling and inflammation. I live in the South and have been bitten by a recluse on my shin. It turned red and swelled for awhile but I was fine.

This are all the same people who had little reaction to a kid being hit by a train
