the shock would have tightened his muscles, would that have made the landing impact worse or better?
#20 to #4 - taurusguy ONLINE (09/16/2013) [-]
It usually wont matter, if he wasnt dead before he hit the wire he sure as **** was when he stopped touching it.
User avatar #29 to #4 - spceinvdr (09/16/2013) [-]
imagine a beanbag and a cinderblock of the same mass and weight, and disregarding air resistance, having them hit the ground falling from the same initial height. hich one can dissapate the most force?

*which
User avatar #5 to #4 - officerofwar (09/16/2013) [-]
It would have made the impact worse. Usually when the body is relaxed, it acts like a giant shock absorber, allowing the energy from the impact to dissipate throughout the body. If the muscles tighten before impact, the force from the impact doesn't pass through.
#21 to #5 - taurusguy ONLINE (09/16/2013) [-]
It depends from where the electricity went through, if it was simply 2 of his legs or some **** then maybe the impact wouldve not killed. But it looks like it was the entire body so if there was some hope of him living after the shock very unlikely then that fall killed him anyhow

The word is "Pussy" because you're a pussy if this incapacitated you.

why does this bother some people?

i'm not a sociopath; i'm just not bothered by people dying, i'm wondering what about people dying causes some people to feel bad.
User avatar #49 to #48 - nospyonme (09/20/2013) [-]
Most people, have this thing called empathy, meaning they can understand the suffering and pain in others and dislike seeing it. The foundation of a sociopath is a lack of empathy.
User avatar #50 to #49 - winsauceiswin (09/20/2013) [-]
i am empathetic i don't enjoy seeing people sad but i'm not talking about the emotional repercussions of someone or something's death. i was asking seeing death itself.

however, based on your answer i'm guessing that, for you, death makes you feel sad because of how it impacts other people.
#51 to #50 - nospyonme (09/20/2013) [-]

Death does not make me feel sad
User avatar #52 to #51 - winsauceiswin (09/20/2013) [-]
so then you would classify yourself as a sociopath just as you did me?
#53 to #52 - nospyonme (09/20/2013) [-]
If I said yes that would make me a hypochondriac, but I'm not going to say no.
User avatar #54 to #53 - winsauceiswin (09/20/2013) [-]
indeed....so i'm left with my original question unanswered; why does death cause a negative psychological reaction?
User avatar #55 to #54 - nospyonme (09/20/2013) [-]
Empathy
User avatar #56 to #55 - winsauceiswin (09/20/2013) [-]
improbable, as i am empathetic and am not bothered by death.
