My experience with sleep paralysis was horrible. I woke up and could not move at all. My closet is at the end of my bed on the opposite wall. Its a really tall closet and has a lot of space up top. I started hallucinating that tentacles were billowing out of it with two piercing yellow eyes glaring at me. The tentacles started going all around the room lashing at me. While this was happening i was having weird voices whispering in my ear. They weren't particularly saying anything but they were cold whispers filled with malice Then my legs kicked and everything stopped. I came out of it and was terrified and stayed up for the rest of the night. Lucid dreaming is indeed fun with all the possibilities at you fingertips. My first instinct is to fly really high in the air above the clouds and look down over the scenery. A fun thing to do is to materialize something in you hands like a sword or gun. I lucid dream on average probably once a month i feel pretty lucky. Sorry for the long post lol, i felt like i should share. Thanks for reading.

Do you have to enter sleep paralysis in order to lucid dream?

You can try to do something unordinary every day, like pinching your arm after looking at your clock. After some time you will start to dream this, but since you pinch your arm you doesn't feel it and you realize it's a dream you can do whatever you want.

You can also do the one in this post, BUT it's a high chance of you going in sleep paralyziz

No not at all. Im not trained or anything. For some reason ill just be dreaming and notice something isnt quite right. Usually when i lucid dream i start out in my house and as im walking around it feels off so then i realize im dreaming and it becomes lucid. Beware though you can wake up from a lucid dream and be in sleep paralysis. But overall lucid dreaming is the coolest thing that humans can do. Literally anything you want to do can be done. Ive walked through walls, fly, had sex. Its just amazing.
