As much as I love this... it's a repost.
Also, on a slightly related note, I plan on one day taking a bear cub (making sure it was from a set of twins, since if two are born, it's a 90% chance they won't live to be a year old...) from its mother while they're still hibernating. Then, I'll live in a tent with the baby bear, nursing it while it is raised, thinking I'm its mother. Eventually, when we emerge from the 'den' the cub will believe I am its mother. I'll teach it to fly fish, cook, drive, ride a unicycle, and wrestle.
Then, when it finally comes of age, I will find the bear's twin, and they will have a cage fight in front of all the other bears of the forest. My bear-child will have a shiv and technology to help him/her win. Then, the bears will be shown that being raised by humans, as humans, is the best route to survival. Bears will become domesticated, and they shall replace the dog, and be so much more useful and awesome.
