Dermoid cyst. Pus and can contain about anything... blood, hair, teeth, fat... kinda fun to see what's in one each time! Like a mystery bag from your body! :D

Yes, it's a type of teratoma (monstrous tumor). The difference is that it is a pus sack that has the teratoma inside of it, rather then just being a mutated growth. Teratomas are tumors made from stem cells, and stem cells can grow into any kind of cell in the body. As such, they will grow into random kinds of body tissue. A dermoid cyst can develop anywhere a teratoma will develop, but I think this one in particular is from an ovary.

Just realized the video itself says it's from an ovary. Doh.

PS, here's something I found on the Wiki page for Dermoid cyst that I found amusing.

"Any teratoma near the body surface may develop a sinus or a fistula, or even a cluster of these. Such is the case of Canadian Football League linebacker Tyrone Jones, whose teratoma was discovered when he blew a tooth out of his nose"

This is the most awesome kind of tumour. Mostly benign, they can spawn hair and even teeth. Truly awesome how the human body works.
