this is kind of a shame, yea sure there ARE predators out there,
but i live in a very cold part of the world, and offer people drives all the time.
i have a similar deal to this guy - young, non intimidating, and a nice non clunker vehicle.
sometimes people are just actually nice too. i hate seeing people walk in -45C ( -45F)
and i am just as at risk of them robbing me or raping me i suppose...

true, there are several things that happen in small towns that would never fly in a city, things like leaving your house unlocked while you leave for a while for leaving your car unlocked, I've heard stories from small towns where people have left a lot of money in a car with the window rolled down and someone, afraid it'd get stolen, grabbed it wrote a note and brought it to the police station so they'd keep it safe, but in big cities that money would be gone almost before you locked the door.
