LONG time lurker but I write things and addy wants comps so thought morbid might like some of it. Made a new account not to thumb whore.

First off, your profile picture is pretty awesome - it got me to touch my screen just in case - secondly, if I might ask, how do you mean? They are all technically two sentences - even the longer ones.

for example in the fourth one a period should replace the "-" in the last line, since "the invasion was progressing" is a sentence on its own since it expresses a complete thought. in the fifth picture the second comma should be a period since the idea after the comma is separate from the idea before the comma. in the last one it's the same deal as in the fourth one with the "-"

Actually, these examples should be semicolons. To connect two independent clauses --- sections of a sentence that are grammatically forrect on their own --- that pertain to each other, you would use a semicolon.
