Slenderman doesn't kill grown people. He preys on small children only, as because of their natural curiosity, he seems more approachable. So he finds them to be easy targets. Consider them lucky. As grown people, (as I hope most of you are) are aware of the danger that surrounds him. His aura of terror glows much brighter to us, because of our age an experiences. That's why kids are lucky. Because he is able to terrorize. Torment our very minds and dreams. Watches us. He knows the fear he instills on us, and that is a much greater pain then dying.
