I never had a hard time killing Cazadors at all. My trick is to keep anti-venom with you at all times, and just go fucking ape shit on them. The problem I had was with Deathclaws.

I had a couple of problems with them. They were definitely annoying and they never stopped coming, though. I guess my main problem was conserving my anti-venom and stimpaks. See, as I play on Hardcore.
The Deathclaws were just evil. I found a couple of places that could keep them from their reach, like a tipped carriage North-East of Sloan, on the road to New Vegas, but I'm pretty sure they patched that stuff up.

Anti-material rifle erryday. I'd just camp on the edge of what my scope could see and snipe. I never had a problem unless they jumped me.

I use energy weapons, so it was rather difficult without the proper weaponry/ammo.

Mfw energy weapons. Only energy weapons I liked were the Recharger Rifle/Pistol, and the Pulse Gun, and those were for novelty value. LMG and Anti-Material rifle for me.

I love energy weapons. Guns just don't give you that satisfying feeling of seeing your enemies disintegrate and explode before you like energy weapons do.
Plus it's fun to just waltz around in some power armor as you mow down Legionaires with a Gatling Laser.
