icky (05/17/2012) [-] a poltergeist is generally manifested from a member in the home that is under a great deal of stress and/or in complete denial that there is any paranormal activity going on. contrary to popular belief, ghosts don't create poltergeists.. people do. i mean, yeah they can move shit around and fuck with electronics but not at such a great extent. i suggest you look into the history of the house and just take it from there. if shit starts getting worse i suggest you get the fuck outta there. i lived in a haunted house once for a couple years, won't go into detail about it but just wanna let you know i can relate.

As long as it doesn't hurt my family it is okay, also i do know that a poltergeist is by stress/repressed emotion, and my entire family is in acceptance to the paranormal, my mom from what happened with me all the way back to when I was really young that no one can explain in my family at least, and glad to see someone else realizing that this is real.

GibbyTheGerbil (05/17/2012) [-] also i would have to say that due to the fact that it started after you became a teenager poltergeist is most probable try going to your local homeopathic store and get a smudge stick it's just sage of some kind and burn it till it's smoking then walk around your home in every room whilst thinking of positive things. if after this you still feel unsafe you could try a thick salt line in any doorway you use most often. that should help.

smudging no, but since I prefer to believe in norse/pagan (whichever you wanna call it) I recited the prayer of protection that is from it as well as I created a protection charm with the same materials and technique that would have originally made, traditionally it was to protect from spirits and I haven't had anything really happen to me since other than the voices, and don't worry most people don't know what it is so I understand that you would explain it.
