1. red blue and yellows battery takes far far langer to die so they're probably still alive.

2. buy another copy online.

3. replace internal battery. (for specific battery types look it up. but they can be bought at radio shack.

4. trade all valuable pokemon over to good cartrage.

5. quit bitching.

But theyre not.. Only certain Pokemon were in certain games. Pikachu only followed you in Yellow. You could get Squirtle,Bulbasaur and Charmander in Yellow. You could only pick one in Blue and Red. Yellow=<3 but goddamn the Elite 4 were fucking hard.. FUCK YOU GHOST LADY!

But besides that they pretty much are... I wouldnt pay extra for the same game but with different pokemon just buy the one with your favourite
