I've been on for like two years and the other day some dude posted a gif of kids throwing a dog off a bridge onto hard land. I kept caring...

you think that's bad? i remember browsing once and saw this one gif of a guy recording himself hitting a dog to death with a shovel. it was just horrible. the dog was shaking violently after it got hit. i just burst into tears to see such a thing. every hit it grew weaker and weaker and eventually he just stopped moving. i couldn't stop watching because you just can't stop watching this kind of stuff! my mind just simulated a dog crying and squealing after the hits and made it worse! since then, the gif keeps popping in my head everytime i shower or i'm about to fall asleep. since then i've loved my dog alot more. even after years of browsing gore threads, dogs dying are my weakness

I'll be honest, I stopped reading once I saw "it started shaking violently" because I knew I could not bare to read the rest. I got that "feeling", you know the one you get when you read or watch something just terrible? It's weird, I've seen people killed and what not in videos and feel nothing, but for some reason, I can't even bare to watch that stupid Sarah Mclachlan tv commercial. It's weird how that works.

From my understanding it was shot because it had swelling in the brain and was going to die soon, I don't know if that is true (because hell it's the internet), but I like to think it is so I feel less sad.

Reminds me of a mouse I shot in the head with an airsoft gun when we had an infestationin our old house. Immediately grabbed a shovel to mercy kill it when I realized how ineffective the airsoft gun was :/

It was a gif of a cartoon where someone was swinging a hammer at a nail, and they kept missing. The guy was labeled "you" and the nail was labeled "good content" or something. The guy in the cartoon was the on in the green hoodie from examplechanology's comment.
