Holy ****. I am 18, a girl and have been suffering from hypnagogic hallucinations just like this. I've seen, felt and heard spiders, rats, snakes, monsters, people, demons, family members who weren't really there, **** like the above, and much much more. You are a million times braver than myself, though. I had a complete breakdown had to go tsee doctors and, turns out, have narcolepsy that has been causing hallucinations. Well I had to go to more than one doctor because 3 out of the 4 didn't believe me. Lemme know if you wanna talk about it, it would be nice to hear from someone going through the same ordeal.

tl:dr I know what you are going through, aint that some ****?

Be 16. Sophmore in highschool. Grades are failing. Take medication to mellow my ADD. Not working. Parents go on second honey moon. go to live with family friend for a week. Super involved in school. Meds still not working.
"Maybe one more than prescription should do it." 30 minutes later I lose control of my body.
"What the actual ****. Body isn't responding." Get pulled into a random void within my subconscious. Pulled apart for what seems 30 years in different gorey goodness. Check time on phone. Three hours pass with seven text messages. Read the horrid things that were sent. Best friend calls me. Chews me out about how much of a dick I am. Girl friend calls me. No longer girl friend. Go to school next day. Walls burn in black fire. Black and purple puss covers the walls
>Bitchbetrippinballs.jpg Tentacles shoot out and tear my peers apart one by one. Their blood splatters my face and get's in my mouth. What the **** is going on? I mean seriously? Go up to best friend
"Is there anything weird going on?"
"I could ask you the same thing, Asshole."
"Dude... You don't understand what's going on." Torn apart in front of me while still talking. Nothing but a face left that matches his noises. Explain what I'm seeing. He freaks out. I go home and tell no one else. Three years pass. Just told my parents last week. They think I'm full of ****

At least you don't have night-terrors.

Still, sympathy to you. I had that for a while but it went away after a while (and some therapy). I used to see the Iron Liches from Heretic everywhere... **** was ******* terrifying.

It's somewhat complicated.

Let's just say that terror is involved.

These guys are the Iron Liches btw.

One used to hover in the corner of my room almost every ******* night.

Hallucinations are a bitch when your mind ******* hates you.

Also, I'd love to hear more about these hallucinations. Would make for interesting OC and it may even be cathartic for you.

It could be worse.

Also, you played Heretic? Seriously? Never met another person who's played that game. I'm 19 so I was pretty young when my dad decided that -THIS- should be my first ever video game.

PARENTING!!!

-.-' FML.

(P.S. You know Fur Fighters too or would that be too big a coincidence?)

Ooh, granted. However I figure Buggs still had to run away sometimes. The Cheshire Cat's got no ***** to give whatever you do. He's a logical impossibility.

Buggs is still funnier though.

Aye, which is quite a shame. I figure it would be interesting watching someone trying to actively catch him or kill him.

Would have made for an interesting short. It's unusual that Disney wouldn't have done that, considering their history with shorts.

I am 18, male, and whenever i think that there is something in the corner of the room, I just think to myself, I hope it can read minds, cause if it reads my mind, then it's going to be scarred for life.

I really don't see the big deal with something like monsters, we all live with monsters inside of us, and there is always the physical part of that. Us.

We all can create these monsters with our minds, the more vivid the hallucination the increase in the fright, I can do the same thing, it's worse when I'm sleeping, I create very dark but vivid imaginings, but because of who I am and my past decisions, I feel that it no longer affects me.
