My question is why do you save it?

Contrary to popular beliefs about my controversial "gore" folders, they are actually a help to humanity. I use them to spam politicians that refuse to act. I have similar folders for Gaza (or Palestine), Afghanistan and Iraq (videos of people dying from being waterboarded, a dead pregnant woman being "double tapped" by an Israeli soldier etc.

There are politicians who still believe that the situation in Syria is "under control" and an "overreaction from the media".

So you are an activist? Where do you acquire these videos, it doesn't sound like the type of stuff you'd find in a /b/ gore thread.

Who is it that takes these photos, journalists working for bestgore?

Sick fucks. I have little sympathy for 99% of the photographers when they get busted or even killed. They are bystanders and journalists who's first thought when seeing a dying kid is in taking pictures and post them online for attention and maybe some money. Best gore just hamsters all the pictures they can find.

There's of course always the rule to the exception. There was this Swedish or Norwegian journalist last year who took pictures of the dead monks in Burma/Myanmar, and I really believe that his honest attention was to make the world SEE what they are going through. I heard he died during one of the protests. A bullet. But, maybe that IS just a rumor.

I assumed it would just be people trying to make money by selling them to bestgore.

That sucks, I don't really think about the good people that die in these things. Do you think that you make a difference? What is it that you actually do when you think you need to act?

When I hear about wars, revolutions or invasions, I started educating myself about it. I make my own opinion. I then discuss that opinion with people who are both against me and with me. That tests my knowledge and if I still have the same opinion then I'm pretty sure that's what is right in my perspective.

I then find the emails for different commissions, politicians and such and send a lot of emails from a new hotmail user. I have tried doing this from my own computer, but honestly; I'm too scared, so when I have the time, I put my stuff on a USB drive and send it from the library or school.

Would be shit to get caught with a USB full of Syrian gore...

Yeah, even though the chances of the police actually searching me and caring for an USB is so small, I get the urge to drop it down a sewer every time I see a police-car.

I have huge amounts of respect for lurkers. That is where the real pros come from, but I have never been able to stay quiet and just lurk. Always been a poster and that is probably my greatest weakness.

Well, had an account since 2010. I was anon for many a year before I finally made one.

Mostly, I spend my time on FJ and /b/ (if I can find any decent threads that haven't been spammed with fake CP links. I haven't really found any decent sites, I'll check out 808 as it seems interesting, but other than that I don't really spend much time on the chans.

Oh, that was meant to be what I used to browse. 808chan stopped working a little less than 1 year ago. That was actually when I started becoming a frequenter at FunnyJunk. The uncle dolan on 808 tried to update the site, but crashed it instead. It haven't been up since.

Oh yeah, there's an article on Encylcopedia Dramatica about it, they talk about the fact that it's down.

Wow. Encyclopedia Dramatica users really hate most of the chans. Weird... I don't remember seeing child porn on 808. Then again, I never heard about a DDoS attack either, so I might just be really bad at remembering.

Most articles on there are incredibly sarcastic and critical, it's quite funny to read the ones about "haxxors"...
