Well that rest is just uncalled for... Who needs a rest that could possibly last that long... Is someone just suppose to hit a gong at the end of the song and only then... only time that could ever really be used I could think of.

lol im in band, i usually dont count cuz i loose track, i just get used to how the music goes and know that after a certain instrument plays a certain thing, we come in :)
