Morbid Channel Vote. So recently I thought I would upload some content to the Morbid channel and found out later in the day that said content was taken down and

So recently I thought I would upload some content to the Morbid channel and found out later in the day that said content was taken down and I had received a warning for posting **** content along the lines of gore. So I tried posting again with a message attached to it- only to find it was taken down a second time and I was given a heavier warning. So what I am asking from you- the people of FJ, is that you vote for your opinion of the morbidity of the Morbid Channel.

Seriously though, there should defiantly be a channel for morbid, and even ********* (that are blocked by default in a channel filter)

It would probably complicate the system more though. The reply itself would then make all the other replies viewable and the thing it was replying viewable I assume and possibly lead to a massive *********** of comments if the original comment was heavily replied to. That is a good idea, but would complicate Admins already busy schedule of updating the site.

Okay, but hear this,
the morbid channel is in the SFW-Zone of FJ. Posting Gore on SFW is not allowed because google does NOT want to advertise on a gore/porn site.

Yeah, I suppose a **** morbid channel COULD be made. But it would be used by so few people.

Channel blocking has been an idea thrown at admin for years. Maybe i'll talk to him or Post and see if we can't do something like that.

i think the best system would be so you could "subscribe" to certain channels and you would get posts from them as normal posts (doesnt matter if SFW or **** )
if you dont want to see something then you could block
this way ultimately every user will have a personal experience tweaked especially for them
default would be the way fj is right now
maybe these settings could be placed somewhere in your profile or something, or they could be private, wtvr

Might as well just not have the morbid channel if we can't actually post morbid stuff in it. It should either be removed entirely or let morbid stuff be posted in there. No point in it sitting empty.

Channels can be created by users last time I checked. Plus, it has always been heavilly advertised that **** things should be done over at FJ2 feministactivism.org as to help keep it alive. Gore was posted there in the past and given positive thumbs. The problem is that it's not active enough to have a community as large as the one here so a lot less posters find it beneficial to posting there, which in turn kills the community. I personally believe the way that FJ is set guideline wise is very good. It's not so messed up that it scares away sponsors and it also attracts some more traffic as to not act so weird that it scares away people right off the bat. I personally have been planning on posting to FJ2 as to try and make it more active but am a lazy piece of **** . I've only ever posted a couple Deadpool comics on FJ2.

It would be cool if there was a way to set a channel so that if anything is posted within that channel that it would never show up in top uploads or recent uploads, just like the **** section is handled.

I honestly have little intention of using FJ2, which I think is a pretty widely agreed on sentiment. Getting things set up here seems like it would be better. Although I do understand what you are saying about stuff getting too weird. Maybe we can convince admin to do something like what I was saying with the uploads not showing up.

It is that time of year afterall. But let me be the one to say it: No gore porn. Here me out. When that channel started it was: Monsters, scary stories, serial killers and other infamous people with their stories, and various other **** that is perfect for October. What it became was: guy blows brains out and looks like sid from ice age, women crushed by falling bag, suicides, and various dead people posted for the sake of again gore porn. Now mind you that doesn't bother me in the least I am so desensitized to the suffering of humanity it's disgusting! But it makes a bad channel, drives people away, and is why it died.

Do think the gore porn should be in the **** , but that there should be a flat gore chan. It does seem fitting for spooky and unsettling horror appropriate to the season. Besides I've seen the suicide **** posted before and it didn't get me hard or raw either way... not saying it should, but there is a place and avenue for it. I tend to like peeling apart reasons for deaths or the gore itself to kinda appreciate the gritty reality of it. Maybe even in some ways the humor of it in a few cases.



I'd vote for a dual Gore then. One that's nothing fapp worthy and the other which is whatever for those who do get their jollies in more than just a bit of thinking on momento mori.

Thing about how morbid worked before, is that it would be among the normal content and people would accidentally click on it, not knowing what they were about to see.

If you're going to bring morbid back, it needs to be in it's own channel, like a separate board or like the **** area.

Until I have the option to not see an entire channel, I'm going to say keep gore off SFW.

Just keep gore off FJ in general. You don't wanna ruin someones fap in **** . It's obviously not SFW, so it shouldn't be posted there either.

If I wanted to see gore, I'd go to You need to login to view this link or some other website that features it.
I come to FJ to get away from all the ******** in my life, not to be reminded of it.

I don't mind people posting morbid, if I'm scrolling through the newest upload and there's some scat + blood porn there I'll hope for your death

If you want to post morbid and not get banned or flagged then I suggest you making a warning people scroll down, so nobody views morbid unintentionally.

Look, I'm all for everyone getting what they want but that **** needs it's own section like **** because I don't want to see that **** when I am trying to fap and I sure as hell don't want to see that stuff when I am looking at the frontpage.
