It is, a Cow couldn't withstand that kind of trauma.

oh, there's plenty that could be wrong with being patriotic, but i guess what i'm saying is that i'm trying to keep my patriotism below the level of mindlessly elevating the actions of my countrymen to a glorified status of ignorant bliss. I love norway, and i love being norwegian, but patriotism shouldn't be stretched so far as not to recognise that a country can do wrong. all i wanted was for people not to believe i was one of those "OMG NORWY RULZ NORWEGIAN MASTER RACE" people.

What you're thinking about is nationalism.

No, nationalism is when you're proud of your country's cultural heritage. Patriotism is when you're proud of your country's achievements. For example, America is very patriotic because they love the achievements they've made like freedom, independence and such, while most, or really many, Norwegians are nationalists, because they like to wear stikkegensre in the winter, they like to eat porridge on the national day and is generally proud of their culture, but also their achievements which also can be a part of their nationalism, so nationalism includes achievements, but it can be a little more similar to conservatism.

You can be both, of course. The thing about nationalism is that you're proud of your culture and since you're proud of your culture it can mean that it evolves into fascism, like what happened in Germany. But there's also the good part of nationalism when you believe that everyone, no matter race, gender or sexual preference, who respect and follow the culture and only demand that people from the outside should adapt to the culture if they want to move in.

Nationalism: Devotion to the interests or culture of one's nation.
Patriotism: Love of and devotion to one's country

The only weird thing about this was the fact that after the impact, all this shit started flying everywhere.

Don't know if you know this or not, but most organisms aren't animated blood sacks. We have organs and bones and sinew and all sorts of interesting things within the confines of our hides.

But that looked gross. Rather than the deer flying, it just explode, just like you described it "an animated blood sack". I know we organisms aren't animated blood sacks, but that what it looked like in the gif.

Yeah, I suppose so. I've seen so many gifs and videos of animals being hit by cars/trucks, but this one is the only instant in which the animals actually explodes. This is kind of scary, seeing as how thousands of people every year are killed because of car accidents, so, let's say that the deer was a human, we can expect the same outcome. This changes my view on car accidents. I used to think that people just flew into the air, probably already dead from the impact, maybe losing a few limbs. But the fact that some people just explode on impact scares the living shit out of me.
