I'm from Minnesota. And my older sisters would talk about this when I was little to try and scare me. It worked.
I've visited the small town where this woman "lived"
Very creepy stuff, people know about this story but never wanna talk about it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, these stories originated from towns such as Pine City, Forrest Lake. I think this happened farther north then that. Close to the Canadian border.

I grew up in Saint Paul and Pine City. Pine City is creepy. A lot of spooky stuff. Theres an abandoned train station there. Stories come from the town saying the ghost train can still be heard there passing through. I remember I was walking on the tracks one night and I heard the train, it was so loud my ears popped. But there was no train. Scary **** . It's stories like this that are told through story and experience that leave an empression on people.

you know its always nice to hear that these stories are actual stories and not **** made up by op. I always gotta wonder about that sometimes.
