"Oh, that's an epic post you made 15 seconds ago! Why isn't everyone on this site commenting on how epic it is and giving you pinkies! Here, let me save you!!!"
You say something, I explain that it's different than you described, then I get a "Oh hey it was just a joke bro". Work on your jokes then man, cause a joke is supposed to be funny.
Best part if he probably did threaten to sue them... people are super sue happen these days. I prefer "Eagles - Get over it" especially the line "Let's kill all the lawyers."
Good song, but lawyers do defend this stuff too. Hell, half the reason Russia had to put a dash cam on everything is because of all the insurance claims being made. Good lawyers help put scum like that guy in jail.
True, well it's kinda like cops, as a lawyer you can do the best job imaginable and not get noticed, only the corrupt or considered bad ones whether it's just or not are the only ones noticed sadly.
I'm telling myself he's semi smart and just going for insurance fraud. Yup. Totally not retarded enough to get a lobotomy without any noticeable effect.
yeah, well don't do something like this in asia, most countries over there if someone hits a pedestrian they'll drive over them a few times until they're dead because if they get injured they have a financial duty to that pedestrian for all the money he can't make injured, it's easier to pay 1 lump sum for a dead person than to pay monthly for an injured person.
Here's a great example of three interesting parts of human behavior.
First up we have the Bystander effect. When a group of people see something happening, they are FAR less likely to actually do something and assume others will or just ignore it entirely if there's a group of people. Eg: If you're walking down a lonely street and you see a man hunched over, you're much more likely to do something whereas if 100 people were walking down teh street, more than likely NO ONE would act.
Next up you have an expectation effect. If you see a group moving, you assume and even expect them to finish moving, so your brain is apt to wander onto other things. In this case, the Driver sees the group moving, and assumes they crossed the street no problem, probably focusing on something else, like the light, the car next to her, other people on teh street, etc.
And lastly, you have someone swiftly hiding from the car in hopes to get some free insurance money, I can only assume. Blehk.
In all honesty though, he didn't even look like he fell, he just lay down, why would anyone help? I wouldn't help.
If it's not even remotely convincing as a prank, just get up, don't ******* lay there and expect people to help when they just saw you carefully and slowly position yourself on the floor.
Dude deserved it, but the driver was pretty stupid to not have seen him too.
How the **** does he deserve to pretty much be ran over and crushed to death?
Dude could have been having a heart attack.
You don't always just ******* fall down like a bag of bricks when something is wrong.
When you faint, you drop like a 'sack of bricks'.
When you have a heart attack or stroke, you are still aware of 'get out of danger and sit down'.
A heart attack doesn't instantly render you unconscious or initiate a 'stop and drop' response.
This dude just lay down because.. uh.. insurance fraud?
I wouldn't say the driver is stupid for not seeing them. To be honest, your comment makes me think you've never actually been behind the wheel. Unless the driver was looking directly at that person and saw them lay down. Dude got down right in front of the car's hood, out of the view of the driver. If the driver was looking at the light, or another car, or other pedestrians, or literally hundreds of other things to look at while on the road, then they probably wouldn't have seen the guy. I didn't see the guy lay down until the car was about to hit him. Why should I have? He's just a part of the crowd. No real reason to assume someone in the middle of the crowd is going to do anything. I was looking to the left of the frame.
No, it's impossible to be aware of everything on the road. Especially when it is literally not visible to you. I've never been in an accident, so I'm not excusing bad driving. You're actually retarded.
