I'm scared

I'm not going to give details about me or where I am. This is based more in the internet than real life.

Now, that being said, onward to the rest of this post.

I've been an internet user for years now, I've heard of many urban myths since the first time I went to any website. I hate myself for it, but I am a common visitor of creepypasta. But what I am about to tell you about creeps me out in ways creepypasta never has.

It is a cartoon show. It is focused mainly towards little kids. That being said, little kids are not the only ones who watch it. I've even heard of elderly people who love it. Of course, not everyone watches it. There are some who refuse to, they believe that a kid's show is just that, a kid's show. I've seen full-blown hate wars begin over a simple statement such as "I don't really like it." Finally, I decided that I would give the show a try and then form my own opinion of it.

So, I went to youtube and looked up the very first episode and I began watching it. Even from the intro music, I could feel my manliness slipping away, but I wouldn't stop so soon. I would give the entire episode a chance. About 20 minutes later, the episode ended and I told myself that even though it ended on a cliffhanger, I wouldn't watch the second episode. A few hours after that, "Ok, I'll watch episode 2, but only to see what how that little plotline ends." I finished episode 2 and I hated it. I did not want to see anymore episodes. But now.... I know I won't enjoy it. I know that my level of manliness will continue going down....but... My brain is telling me to watch episode 3. I don't want to, but on the other hand, I do. Does that make any sense?....

I think I'm starting to realize something. All those people who enjoy this show. Those people who will fight with others over this show. Fights which, if they took place in person, would quickly escalate to all-out brawls. What if they have been infected by something? What if they are not....normal...anymore? What if...."zombies" has been replaced with another, less obvious word? A word like...."bronies"?
