It is a lion mane jellyfish my good sir, the largest jellyfish in the world.

But you are correct in the fact that box jellyfish has one of the most potent poisons in the world, especially the Irukandji type.

See, this is why Aquaman is the most potentially powerful super hero in the DC. Think about it. Go ahead and count up how many million square miles of ocean surface there is in the world. Now go ahead and think about how many animals are living under a single one of those square miles, then multiply it accordingly. Then realize that Aquaman can communicate and order around each one of those. Then go **** yourself when you even think about ******* with the king of the sea.

Just to clarify, this picture is fake. Jellyfish cannot actually get this massive. Not the gelatinous tops. It's just physically impossible. This is a Lion's Mane Jelly though. But it is a juvenile. The Lion's Mane can get up to 100 feet long, making it the largest jelly in the world. But that length is entirely in it's tentacles. Which have more structure in them, albeit only a little more, than the tops of the jelly. Do note that Jelly's are incredibly fragile. And it is VERY rare for a Lion's Mane to get as large as 100 feet due to that simple fact. But to be honest, this jelly isn't something to fear. Jellyfish can barely swim.

You ever think about the immense ******* size of stuff that could be living down there, and we've never even seen? The oceans are huuuuuuuge.
