So what would happen if you were to be recruited in the cicada's? Do you just make really loud and awful noises?

This is the latest clue from Cicada. As far as I can tell, nobody has solved it yet. I wonder if it means anything in sign language.

Those appear to all be right hands for what that's worth. Lower triangle has a right angle.
It seems to be indicating the hypothenuse of the central triangle, and the curve passing through two curves indicates that the catheti are of equal lengths. The hypothenuse is then the square root of two, times the length of the catheti.

So I'm guessing √2 (or ~1.4142135623730950488016887242097).

They are clips from 4 paintings by a dude called William Blake. The one on the top is flipped horizontally from the original painting and the one on the bottom is upside down. So the importance is in all the pictures coming together in a specific way.

i wouldn't say that's it
from what i've seen the usual gist of cicada puzzles end up with a street address or something else to lead to the next puzzle.

Maybe it has to do with Hermeticism and the saying, "as above, so below."

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermeticism#.22As_above.2C_so_below.22

That looks like a square and a compass, so maybe it has something to do with freemasonry.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freemasonry

ALUMINUMATI WOKE UPAMORECISA

I did a reverse image search and filtered out stuff from the second decade of the 2000's and found literature titled Science et Societe, which is a section or something of a book called the Encyclopédie.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Encyclop%C3%A9die

"The Encyclopédie was an innovative encyclopedia in several respects. Among other things, it was the first encyclopedia to include contributions from many named contributors, and it was the first general encyclopedia to lavish attention on the mechanical arts. Still, the Encyclopédie is famous above all for representing the thought of the Enlightenment. According to Denis Diderot in the article "Encyclopédie", the Encyclopédie's aim was "to change the way people think". He wanted to incorporate all of the world's knowledge into the Encyclopédie and hoped that the text could disseminate all this information to the public and future generations."

It was written by multiple collaborators, the main one being Denis Diderot himself along with a fella named Jean le Rond d'Alembert.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denis_Diderot
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean_le_Rond_d'Alembert

"In his youth, Diderot was originally a follower of Voltaire and his deist Anglomanie, but gradually moved away from this line of thought towards materialism and atheism, a move which was finally realised in 1747 in the philosophical debate in the second part of his La Promenade du sceptique"

This goes off in so many different directions. I mean, you could read all of those articles, but then you would still have the cited works, the external links, and the further readings of each page to scour, but I'm sure the answer's somewhere...

Keep laughing sheep. WE are intellectually superior. We are enlightened by our intelligence and aren't at the bottom is the food chain like you and every other sheep of the herd. You will be begging for mercy one day. Consider this your first warning.
