Why would they change it after mw2? Mw2 was best selling game of all time among consoles sooo would you change it? No. Stfu. I'm apparently the 1% on this site that loves mw3.

So by your logic, it hasn't been broke since MW2? So you'll just continue to buy every "new" COD game? Thats a great idea, $60 plus map packs every year of the same thing. Who cares how many copies they sold, do you get anything out of it? COD is the Madden of FPS's, they come out yearly with MINOR improvements if (if you want to call them that) but are generally the same thing.
Now don't get me wrong, im not saying COD is the worst game ever made, i consider it one of the best FPS's out there, but it is old and repetitive. The main reason i dislike it is because it is so unbalanced and noob friendly, however I get that they want to market the game towards more casual gamers.
If your pumped for BO2 cuz of the trailer, watch some of the old trailers, there all the same, EPIC music, Michael Bay EXPLOSIONS, and cool looking soldiers laying on their backs watching something crazy happen.
So that's my rant on COD, Have a nice day :)

I agree with everything you just said, I refuse to buy any game at full price other than rpgs I will put big hours into.....and Madden, every single year I get the new Madden game, it's a sickness, but lately the improvements to it have been better, so I will feel less bad about buying the new Madden in a few months...and the year after that....and the year after that.....and the year after that.....

usmcoorah (05/07/2012) [-] I'm actually not looking forward to black ops 2 at all. I didnt even like black ops. I like the whole Modern Warfare concept as a whole. I like guns that I can relate to (I'm a Marine), and idk if this is weird or not, but I feel like I'm better with an M16 or an M4 in Mw3 and Mw2. I think Mw3 wasnt NEARLY as good as Mw2, and I dont think theyll ever get that good again with any game they come out with. But they did make minor adjustments to Mw3 which tend to be the biggest things about it. The feel of the game while you play it is pretty much the same, but things like taking the power out of noob tubes was huge for me. Like it takes a relatively accurate, and close shot with a noob tube in Mw3 to get a kill.
I'm just saying, they didnt change the game completely (which was smart) but they did tweak it in some areas which were improvements. But again, Mw2 is just a better game. It seems like they try too hard with Mw3.

And while they shouldn't fix the idea, they should go more in depth on different concepts. Such as an MMO maybe. That would be cool. But until then, I think I'm going to shy away from CoD.
